West Ham fans have been told to treat every summer transfer rumour that we hear with a pinch of salt…at the moment.
That’s according to football journalist Dean Jones who sat down and spoke to Give Me Sport about the Hammers’ transfer plans this summer.

West Ham boss David Moyes has a lot of work to do in the transfer market this summer.
Every single West Ham summer transfer rumour that emerges is met with excitement from the Hammers fans.

This coming summer will be a huge transfer window for the club. With so many players set to leave at the end of the season, there will undoubtedly be a big overhaul at the London Stadium.
West Ham need to sign a striker, a centre-back, a left-back and one or two central midfielders as a bare minimum. And the transfer rumours have already been doing the rounds. But we need to treat each and every one with caution.
West Ham summer transfer rumour season begins…
Football journalist Dean Jones sat down and spoke to Give Me Sport about the Hammers’ apparent interest in signing Fiorentina ace Nikola Milenkovic.
And Jones urged the West Ham fans to take every summer transfer rumour we hear at the moment with a pinch of salt:

“It’s hard to know at this point how seriously to take it because most people I speak to around West Ham are like, ‘Just take everything with a pinch of salt for now’.”
So there you have it.
Whilst there is obviously a lot of work going on behind the scenes, David Moyes runs a very tight ship at the London Stadium.
And there quite simply isn’t much news that gets out now.
Moyes will know full well how many signings he needs to make in order to keep West Ham competitive next season. And hopefully the Scot makes the right decisions in the summer transfer window.
