Hammers boss David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his attacking ranks at the London Stadium next month.
And Liverpool forward Divock Origi could be the ideal option for us.
Jurgen Klopp is prepared to let the 25-year-old leave Anfield at the right price in January (The Athletic).
West Ham should not hesitate to try and bring the 29-capped Belgium international to east London.
Origi joined Liverpool from Lille in the summer of 2014 for around £10 million (BBC).
The 25-year-old forward has gone on to rack up 35 goals and 13 assists in 147 games for the Reds (Transfermarkt).
Whilst the numbers aren’t exactly impressive, only 61 of those games have been starts.
Origi is a talented, hard working striker. He can play anywhere along the front line, and would offer strong competition and cover for Sebastien Haller and Michail Antonio at the London Stadium.
The 25-year-old, who earns £50k-a-week at Anfield (Spotrac) will surely be hungry to prove that he has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League.
He certainly has the ability and perhaps a move to a club where he’s offered regular game-time would be the perfect way for him to fulfil his potential.
The Express recently claimed that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could be prepared to sell Divock Origi for around £15 million. That would represent decent value for West Ham. We may have to sell before we can buy, however.
The Hammers could face competition from Wolves (The Athletic), if David Moyes does indeed decide to try and bring the 25-year-old Liverpool man to the London Stadium in January.
