Liverpool centre-back Nat Phillips would be a superb signing for West Ham United this summer.

The Hammers fans will know all about the bone-crunching 24-year-old defender.
Phillips was superb against us both times this season.
It can’t have been easy filling in for Virgil Van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
The 24-year-old has passed the test with flying colours, however.

The Times claim that Phillips could be on his way out of Anfield this summer.
That is because he may struggle for regular first-team action under Jurgen Klopp when all of the currently injured Liverpool defenders return.
West Ham signing Liverpool ace Nat Phillips would be a very smart move
If the 24-year-old does decide to leave Anfield, Hammers boss David Moyes should not hesitate to sign him.
Central defence is an area where Moyes needs to strengthen by adding some top class youth this summer.
Angelo Ogbonna will soon be 33 whilst Craig Dawson is now 31. Meanwhile, Fabian Balbuena looks set to leave.

We do have some very talented young centre-backs coming through the ranks, but if Moyes chooses to spend some cash this summer, signing Liverpool ace Nat Phillips should be a no-brainer.
In 13 Premier League outings for the Reds this season, the 24-year-old has averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 4.3 clearances and 0.8 blocks per game. He has also won an average of 5.6 aerial duels per match during those appearances (Who Scored).

If Liverpool are prepared to sell Phillips for a reasonable fee, West Ham just need to get this one done. It makes so much sense.
And if the Hammers manage to secure European football this season, we might just have every chance of bringing Phillips to the London Stadium from Anfield.
