West Ham United should go all out for Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer.
Central midfield is an area in need of urgent attention at the London Stadium.
David Moyes quite simply has to bolster his ranks in the middle of the park before the start of next season.
Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice have forged a superb partnership in central midfield.
The Hammers have little in reserve, however.
And Chelsea ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek would be the ideal addition for West Ham in the summer.
The 25-year-old is spending this season on loan with Fulham and he is excelling at Craven Cottage.
West Ham should go all out for Chelsea ace Ruben Loftus-Cheek this summer
Loftus-Cheek has been a real presence in the heart of Scott Parker’s midfield.
He is incredibly technically gifted and has the ability to physically dominate opponents what with his 6ft 3in frame.
The England international has pace and power in abundance. He is very versatile as well.
The Chelsea ace can operate as a deep-lying midfielder, in a more orthodox central role or as a number 10.
The prospect of Loftus-Cheek lining up alongside Rice and Soucek in the middle of the park will be a hugely tantalising one for the West Ham fans.
The Daily Mail recently claimed that the Hammers want to sign the 25-year-old Blues ace. So it would be no surprise if we did make a move for him this summer.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel could be willing to allow Loftus-Cheek to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer according to the Sun.
He could be available for around £18 million as well (Football Italia). That would be outstanding value for West Ham.
And the Hammers board should be doing everything in their power to bring the Chelsea man to the London Stadium this summer.
The 25-year-old does earn around £60k-a-week in west London (Spotrac). So there is no reason why West Ham shouldn’t be able to sign the Chelsea midfielder in the summer.
