West Ham are showing interest in signing CSKA Moscow striker Adolfo Gaich this summer according to a report from Reading Chronicle.
Hammers boss David Moyes will undoubtedly turn his attention to signing a striker as and when the Kurt Zouma deal is officially confirmed.
West Ham have already been linked with at least 40 strikers and now there is a new name to add to that list.
CSKA Moscow hitman Adolfo Gaich is on the Hammers’ radar according to a report from Reading Chronicle.
West Ham wise to move for Adolfo Gaich?
The South American is a hard-working centre-forward, albeit not a prolific one.
At 22, he has plenty of years ahead of him to improve, and Moyes would surely be able to extract the best out of him.
Gaich could be available for around £8.5-10 million this summer, according to Mundoalbiceleste.
That seems like very good value for West Ham.
The CSKA Moscow striker possesses very similar attributes to Michail Antonio. He is an absolute unit and is one of the strongest forwards around.
Gaich isn’t quite as fast as Michy but he’s no slouch.
Despite the fact that the South American isn’t a clinical goalscorer, we still think he’d be a decent addition to Moyes’s squad.

And for just £8.5 million, West Ham would be getting a very capable striker for that price.
