Aside from a flurry of new youth team arrivals, The Hammers manager has only brought Alphonse Areola to the London Stadium so far this summer.
West Ham have the makings of a truly brilliant team.
The addition of two or three top-class new signings could take us to another level, however.

Mark Lawrenson shares what David Moyes told him about transfers
West Ham desperately need to sign a striker and a centre-back before the transfer window slams shut.
It could be argued that we need an attacking midfielder as well to help fill the void left behind by Jesse Lingard.
Lawrenson shared what Moyes told him about potential incomings this summer, when speaking to Off the Ball:

“Moyesey is planning, there is no doubt it. I know they have made loads of phone calls for all sorts of different players. It’s maybe just, at the moment that, not just kind of their ducks are in a row, but they are kind of working out how much it would cost them altogether. He’s in such a strong position. He signed a new contract and he’s in total control of the football side of it. He says that the two owners just leave him to get on with it and, from that point of view, they are really, really good. And Karen Brady does all the stuff when she needs to. He said ‘I am just doing the football, picking the players and trying to buy the players’. I am pretty sure he will buy one or two.”
Let’s hope that Moyes does manage to get some signings over the line.
We could be a real force this year if the Scot adds any kind of depth to his squad at all.
West Ham are currently sitting pretty at the top of the Premier League table. Wouldn’t it be great if GSB are genuinely trying to back Moyes to the hilt?
