Sporting are allegedly demanding just €15 million (£13 million) for the 23-year-old winger (A Bola).
Hammers boss David Moyes needs to considerably strengthen his squad at the London Stadium this summer.
It has to be said, however, the Scot should be prioritising the additions of at least two strikers, a central midfielder and a centre-back.
You could even add a left-back and a goalkeeper to that list!
West Ham are fairly well stocked in the wide attacking positions with Said Benrahma, Jarrod Bowed, Pablo Fornals, Andriy Yarmolenko and Felipe Anderson all set to battle it out for the left and right wing spots next season.

Anderson could be sold back to Lazio but even then we would be well covered.
West Ham offered Cabral on a plate
A Bola claims that Sporting Lisbon have offered the Hammers the chance to sign the Cape Verde international for just £13 million this summer.
Whilst that seems like decent value, David Moyes should walk away. We quite simply don’t need Cabral at this point in time.

Don’t get me wrong. Cabral is a top class player.
He made just six league starts for Sporting and 24 appearances in total last season. In only 677 minutes of action, he racked up an incredible five goals and four assists (Who Scored).
The 23-year-old is a very good dribbler and finisher. He also has a keen eye for a killer pass (Who Scored).

We quite simply don’t need him at the moment. David Moyes has far more pressing priorities at hand and he should walk away from the chance to sign Cabral.
As hard that will undoubtedly be to do.
