West Ham United are eyeing up above to sign Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo in the January transfer window.

However, it is doubtful that Fulham will sell the 25-year-old to the Hammers midway through the season, according to transfer guru Dean Jones.

West Ham boss David Moyes was actually linked with a move to bring Adarabioyo to the London Stadium for around £10 million back in January 2022.

He ended up staying with Fulham, but now it seems as though the Hammers are back in the hunt for his signature.

With Craig Dawson on the way out, it seems as though Moyes wants more cover in the central defensive department…

West Ham eyeing centre-back swoop in January window

The Hammers apparently want to sign Tosin Adarabioyo from Fulham this month.

However, Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport how our chances of doing that in the January window are slim to say the least:

Tosin Adarabioyo at Fulham is somebody they’ve looked at to try and figure out whether he’s available. I think there was a time when Tosin would have been gettable, I’m not sure that moment is right now.

I would love the Fulham ace to join West Ham.

The 25-year-old is very strong in the air, quick along the ground and accomplished with the ball at his feet as well.

The young defender is clearly very talented. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola raved about the centre-back four years ago, when speaking to the Daily Mail, suggesting that he has ‘all the quality’.

He’s a top-class defender all round.

And if West Ham sign him in January, its will be a very good move in my opinion.
