The Hammers’ interest in signing the 22-year-old right-back was broke by the Daily Mail a couple of days ago.
It seems strange that David Moyes is chasing a right-back considering our desperate need for additions in other areas.

A new signing would certainly lift the spirits at the London Stadium. And it seems as though West Ham are beginning to make their move in the transfer market.
West Ham make Mert Muldur bid?
Football journalist Ekrem Konur reckons that the Hammers have submitted a £6 million bid for the 10-capped Turkey international:
We really do think that this is a strange one with Vladimir Coufal, Ryan Fredericks and Ben Johnson all currently competing for the right-back spot at West Ham.
Muldur struggled for Turkey at EURO 2020. He is of course just 22, and will surely improve as he gets older and gains more experience.
The Sassuolo defender quite simply isn’t what we need at the moment, however.
