West Ham have made an official offer for Youssef En-Nesyri according to a report from Spanish publication Marca.

Hammers boss David Moyes is in desperate need of adding a top-class striker to his ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

And En-Nesyri is a player the Scot has been chasing for quite some time now.

The Athletic claimed towards the end of January that West Ham made a £27 million bid for the Morocco international – one that was swiftly rejected by Sevilla.

And as recently as April, it was claimed that the Hammers actually submitted an offer for the 24-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window (Il Milanista).

Nothing happened in the end, however, and the links began to go cold.

West Ham back in for En-Nesyri?

The Hammers have lodged an official offer for the Moroccan according to Marca.

The East London outfit have also made an offer to the player himself that far exceeds his current salary in Seville.

AS reckon that it will take around £35 million to prise him away from the La Liga outfit this summer.

That seems like decent value to us.

En-Nesyri prefect for the Hammers

He is lively, quick and has great mobility and movement. The Sevilla ace is pretty good in the air as well. In short, he is a complete striker.

The Moroccan is a good finisher too. He scored 24 goals in 46 La Liga and Champions League games last season (Who Scored).

Let’s hope that we can get a deal for En-Nesyri done. We’re not sure about our chances of doing that, however, considering the fact that the striker has openly admitted that he wants to stay in Seville.

Money talks though. And perhaps the 24-year-old will change is mind if the Hammers have indeed made him a truly eye-watering offer.
