West Ham have had a bid rejected for Rangers winger Kai Kennedy according to a report from The Daily Record.
The 19-year-old is very highly rated at Ibrox.
Gers boss Steven Gerrard is a huge fan of Kennedy having once described him as ‘outstanding’ and ‘fabulous’, as quoted by the Daily Record:
“He earned the right to be the 19th man. His training performances and his cameo against Leicester – I was thinking about putting him in the 18. All of our lads at the academy should take note of what he’s done this week. I think he’s been outstanding. He’s been the most consistent and he’s a fabulous little player.”
Kennedy really is an incredible talent.
West Ham have Kai Kennedy bid rejected
That’s according to The Daily Record who reckon that Steven Gerrard is desperate to keep the talented starlet at Ibrox.
It’s little wonder why. The 19-year-old has it all.
He’s technically brilliant, has pace in abundance and plays with a real kind of aggression that is needed if you are to make it at the very highest level.
Whether West Ham will go back in for Kennedy or not remains to be seen.
It is encouraging that we seem to be really building for the future this summer, however.
Hopefully Moyes hasn’t given up on bringing the 19-year-old Rangers ace to the London Stadium this summer. He really is a very special young player.
