West Ham United are allegedly chasing summer deals for Jesse Lingard, James Tarkowski and Ben Brereton Diaz.
That’s according to Sport Italia’s Rudy Galetti who claims that the Hammers could face competition from ‘many clubs’ for the three players’ signatures.
West Ham manager David Moyes has so much work to do in the transfer market this summer.
With so many players set to leave the London Stadium at the end of this season, Moyes needs to make at least six or seven new signings if the Hammers are to remain competitive on all fronts next term.
With that in mind, Moyes will have his eye on some bargain deals in order to keep his powder dry for a big marquee splurge on an elite striker and a world-class centre-back.
And it seems as though Moyes is eyeing a bargain triple swoop to help boost the numbers at the London Stadium ahead of the new season…
West Ham target three bargain summer transfer deals
David Moyes will be desperate to bolster his ranks all over the pitch at the London Stadium before the start of next season.
Sport Italia’s Rudy Galetti claims that the Hammers want to sign Manchester United ace Jesse Lingard, Burnley defender James Tarkowski and Blackburn striker Ben Brereton Diaz in the summer transfer window:
Now, whilst Lingard and Tarkowski will be available on free transfers, the same can’t be said for Brereton Diaz.
Blackburn have the option to extend the 23-year-old’s current deal by a further 12 months. So West Ham would have to pay a transfer fee for the Chile international, if we do indeed want to sign him.
We would be more than happy with those three signings as long as Moyes spends big on a world-class striker, another centre-back and a couple of central midfielders as well.
The Hammers are on the precipice of achieving some real success. Hopefully the board enable Moyes to strengthen his ranks at West Ham by backing him to get the summer deals that he actually wants over the line.
