West Ham United are reportedly keen to sign Monaco defender Benoît Badiashile in the summer transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Calciomercato who claims that the Hammers could face competition from Juventus and Borussia Dortmund for the 21-year-old’s signature.

West Ham manager David Moyes will be absolutely desperate to bolster his central defensive ranks at the London Stadium in the summer.
Angelo Ogbonna, Kurt Zouma and Issa Diop are all currently out with long-term injuries. Meanwhile, Ogbonna will be 34 before the start of next season and Craig Dawson is set to turn 32 next month.

And it seems as though Moyes is planning for the future in the centre-back department…
West Ham eyeing summer swoop for Monaco ace Benoît Badiashile
Calciomercato reckon that West Ham are set to challenge Juventus and Borussia Dortmund for the young defender’s signature in the summer transfer window.
We think that the Monaco ace would be an absolutely sensational signing for the Hammers.
He has been described as a brilliant young talent by well-renowned Total Football Analysis.
In 18 Ligue 1 outings for Monaco this season, the young Frenchman has averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 2.6 clearances and 1.9 successful aerial duels per game (Who Scored).
The 21-year-old comes into his own when it comes to technique, composure and ability with the ball at his feet. He has made 59.2 passes on average per match this season and has recorded a completion rate of 88.8% (Who Scored).

He is renowned for making line breaking, progressive passes through the centre of the opposition’s midfield and its absolutely brilliant at beating the press.
The young Frenchman has impressive pace for a big man too. Badiashile could be available for around €40 million (£33 million) according to a report from L’Equipe.
That sounds like great value to us.
Standing at 6ft 4in tall, he is dominant in the air but is a proper footballer as well. The 21-year-old is a huge talent and the next stage of his career will definitely be the jump up from Ligue 1 to the Premier League. And it seems as though the Monaco ace could be swapping France for England very soon indeed…
