The Brazilian club are said to be demanding at least £10 million for the ultra talented 20-year-old attacking midfielder.
David Moyes desperately needs to bring a technically gifted midfielder to the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut in nine day’s time.

The Hammers may well be able to secure a cheaper deal than that for the 20-year-old though…
West Ham in talks for Lazaro
Brazilian journalist Raisa Simplicio has covered claims from Goal Brasil claiming that the Hammers are considering a £10 million bid for the Brazilian youngster:
For just £10 million, we think that Lazaro would be an exceptional signing for West Ham United.
We think this is one that Moyes needs to get done as a matter or urgency.
The Brazilian has bagged eight goals and eight assists in 56 games for Flamengo (Transfermarkt) – not a bad return for someone so young.
The 20-year-old possesses unreal technical ability and has pace, energy and athleticism in abundance. He also possesses exceptional vision and an impressive work-rate.

All Things Selecao once described him as a ‘brilliant talent’.
Lazaro seems to be tailor made for the Premier League and would be a superb signing for West Ham this summer.
He is the kind of player who could go on to become an elite player in the game.
Whether the Hammers board are prepared to part with £10 million in order to secure his services remains to be seen though.
