West Ham United allegedly may have to pay as much as £12 million if we are to sign Flamengo star Lazaro this summer.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who claims that Hammers boss David Moyes is very keen to bring the talented Brazilian midfielder to the London Stadium.

The 20-year-old is an attacking midfielder who can also operate on the wing and he is very highly-rated in his homeland.

Moyes desperately needs to add some creativity and guile to his midfield ranks at the London Stadium before the transfer window closes.
Lazaro would certainly be an interesting and exciting signing. He shouldn’t be too expensive either…
West Ham told fee needed for Lazaro
The 20-year-old starlet won’t cost the world this summer.
That’s according to Fabrizio Romano who told Caught Offside:
“Lazaro is a very interesting talent and I’m not surprised to see growing interest in the player. So far, West Ham offered £6m with a verbal proposal but Flamengo immediately refused because they definitely want more, and are waiting for proposals from other clubs, including Belgian teams. I believe £10-12m will be needed to get a deal done for Lazaro this summer.”

We think this is one that Moyes needs to get done as a matter or urgency.
The Brazilian has bagged eight goals and eight assists in 56 games for Flamengo (Transfermarkt) – not a bad return for someone so young.
The 20-year-old possesses unreal technical ability and has pace, energy and athleticism in abundance. He also possesses exceptional vision and an impressive work-rate.
All Things Selecao once described him as a ‘brilliant talent’.
Lazaro seems to be tailor made for the Premier League and would be a superb signing for West Ham this summer.
Whether the Hammers board are prepared to part with £12 million in order to secure his services remains to be seen though.
