West Ham United can sign centre-back Evan Ndicka for an absolute bargain £7 million fee in the January transfer window.
That’s according to a report from Calciomercato who claim that the Hammers face competition from Arsenal and Tottenham for the 23-year-old Eintracht Frankfurt defender.
If one of the London clubs want to steal a march on the others though, they might just try to prise him away from Frankfurt in January for a nominal fee.

West Ham certainly need another central defender, whilst Arsenal and Tottenham seem to be fairly well covered in that particular department.
And David Moyes may well just be able to bolster his options considerably for a real bargain in January…
West Ham can sign defender for bargain fee in January transfer window
Calciomercato reckon that the 23-year-old centre-back will not sign a new deal with Eintracht Frankfurt when his current one expires in the summer of 2023.
As a result, the Bundesliga side are prepared to sell him to West Ham, Tottenham or Arsenal for a bargain fee in the January transfer window – just £7 million.
We think that Moyes should go all out for Ndicka.
Craig Dawson and Angelo Ogbonna are now 32 and 34 respectively. The former has made it clear that he would like to move closer to his home in the north of England whilst the latter has been really struggling with injury problems over the past 11 months.
Signing Ndicka from Eintracht Frankfurt seems like an absolute no-brainer for Moyes.
The Frenchman is a truly elite defender, make no mistake about that.
In 32 Bundesliga games for Eintracht Frankfurt last season, Ndicka bagged four goals and four assists. During those appearances, he averaged 1.9 tackles, 1.5 interceptions and 4.1 clearances per game (Who Scored).

The 23-year-old also won 3.8 aerial duels per match and recorded a completion rate of 83.3% from 56.9 attempted passes per game (Who Scored).
Ndicka is an absolute colossus. Standing at 6ft 4in tall, he is totally dominant in the air. The centre-back seems to be tailor made for Premier League football.
He has been described as an ‘integral’ player for Frankfurt this season by The Mastermind Site.
Football journalist Zach Lowy has described the centre-back as a ‘brilliant’ player.
I would absolutely love to see Moyes bring Evan Ndicka to West Ham in the January window. The thought of him lined up alongside the likes of Kurt Zouma, Nayef Aguerd and Thilo Kehrer in defence really is a tantalising one.
