West Ham reportedly could now sign Adam Armstrong for absolute bargain fee

West Ham could now sign Adam Armstrong from Blackburn Rovers for just £8 million this summer according to a report from The Daily Mail.

Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium this summer.

And Armstrong is a name who West Ham have persistently been linked with since we sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax in January, as reported by The Sun and club insiders Claret and Hugh.

The 24-year-old live-wire was one of the standout players in the Championship last season.

He racked up an incredible 28 goals in 40 league games and finished the season behind only Brentford striker Ivan Toney in the Championship goalscoring charts (Transfermarkt).

West Ham could sign Adam Armstrong for bargain fee

Blackburn are now prepared to sell the former Newcastle striker for just £8 million according to a report from The Daily Mail.

That seems like truly outstanding value for the Hammers.

And David Moyes should not hesitate to wrap up a deal to sign Armstrong.

The Blackburn ace has everything that the Scot looks for in a striker.

The 24-year-old is incredibly mobile, possesses blistering pace and works his socks off each and every time he takes to the pitch.

Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray recently described the former Newcastle ace as an explosive centre-forward (Evening Express).
