Foot Mercato recently claimed that Hammers boss David Moyes wants to bring the Baggies ace to the London Stadium this summer.

West Ham’s first priority will be to get a permanent deal for Jesse Lingard all wrapped up before the start of next season.

With Manchester United playing hard-ball, however, the East London outfit may well be forced to look elsewhere this summer.

There are plenty of alternative options out there for David Moyes.

West Ham boost regarding Matheus Pereira pursuit

The 25-year-old play-maker was in sensational form for West Brom last season. He was the main man at the Hawthorns.

The Brazilian racked up 11 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games for the Baggies (Transfermarkt).

Pereira is a real game changer. The West Brom ace possesses a wicked delivery from set-pieces and has technical ability in abundance.

He really is a truly exceptional talent who can change a game in an instant.

Pereira would be a wonderful signing for West Ham. Some would argue that he may actually be a better option than Jesse Lingard.

And we think that signing the 25-year-old South American for just £15 million this summer is an absolute no-brainer for the Hammers.
