Hammers boss David Moyes has only signed Alphonse Areola so far this summer, aside from a flurry of new youth arrivals.

It seems as though West Ham’s business is now beginning to kick into gear, however.

The signing of Kurt Zouma appears to be inching ever closer to completion (The Express).

West Ham to sign Bamba once Zouma is done?

The Express claims that the electric 25-year-old attacker could be London Stadium bound.

David Moyes is allegedly eyeing up alternative options to Jesse Lingard.

And Bamba appears to have caught the Scot’s eye.

The Lille ace was in fine form last season. He bagged six goals and 11 assists in 38 Ligue 1 games (Transfermarkt).

Bamba has electric pace, is incredibly hard to push off the ball and plays with a certain kind of directness that makes him ideally suited to the football deployed by Moyes.

He would certainly add so much more variety to West Ham’s attacking play.

£25 million would be superb value for Bamba.

If Moyes manages to sign the Frenchman as well as Zouma, this transfer window will all of a sudden start to look pretty good.
