The Hammers have been chasing the towering Blues centre-back all summer long.

And now it seems as though the East London outfit have finally made the key breakthrough.

Zouma will be an exceptional addition to David Moyes’s squad.

And the reported fee should be seen as a real bargain for the Hammers as well.

Tuttmercatoweb claims that the Hammers’ deal to sign the Chelsea ace is ‘not up for discussion’.

The East Londoners have agreed a £23 million fee with Chelsea and have reached an agreement with the centre-back within the last few hours.

He is set for a medical tomorrow and will sign a five-year contract with the Hammers.

The West Ham fans will be buzzing as and when this one is officially announced.

Zouma is an elite defender. He has won two Premier League titles and has a Champions League winner’s medal to his name.

The 26-year-old is an absolute warrior, has power and pace in abundance and has real athleticism.

In 24 Premier League outings for Chelsea last season, Zouma averaged 0.7 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 3.8 clearances per game. He also won an average of 3.6 aerial duels per match (Who Scored).
