West Ham United are allegedly ‘really interested’ in signing talented Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher this summer.
That’s according to transfer insider Dean Jones who told Give Me Sport that Hammers boss David Moyes really wants to bring the 22-year-old Chelsea star to the London Stadium before the summer transfer window slams shut.

David Moyes clearly wants to add more energy, technical ability and guile to his central midfield options at West Ham.
Tomas Soucek is struggling badly at the moment whilst Flynn Downes seemingly hasn’t been impressing in training.

And it seems as though Chelsea’s Gallagher is right at the very top of Moyes’s list…
West Ham very keen on signing Conor Gallagher
Dean Jones has told Give Me Sport just how much Moyes wants to bring the 22-year-old to the London Stadium this summer:
“They are still waiting in the background to hear on various situations ongoing at Chelsea – Broja is one of them but also Conor Gallagher really interests them. They feel his energy and ability would bring a similar lift to when Jesse Lingard came in.”
The four-capped England international would be a fine addition for West Ham, that goes without saying.
Gallagher was brilliant during his loan spell with Crystal Palace last season.
He has bagged eight goals and three assists in 34 Premier League games for Palace (Transfermarkt).
During those appearances, the 22-year-old averaged 2.4 tackles, 1.7 dribbles and 1.3 key passes per game (Who Scored).

He has incredible energy, drive, passion, determination and commitment to the cause. On top of all that as well, Gallagher is incredibly gifted from a technical perspective.
He’s obviously very highly rated at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will demand around £40 million for the 22-year-old’s signature (The Express).
It’s highly unlikely that West Ham will be prepared to pay that kind of money for Conor Gallagher this summer but perhaps a season-long loan deal with an option to buy him next year would be the ideal solution for all parties involved.
Especially if Chelsea end up signing Frenkie de Jong.
