West Ham United are allegedly ready to make a €10 million (£8.5 million) bid for Spezia’s Polish defender Jakub Kiwior.
That’s according to a report from Calciomercato who claim that the Hammers have already made contact with Spezia about the 22-year-old.

And now it appears as though West Ham are ready to firm up that interest by making an official offer for the defender.
David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium before the summer transfer window slams shut.

Nayef Aguerd and Craig Dawson are currently out injured whilst Angelo Ogbonna is nowhere near match fit. Meanwhile, Issa Diop recently left to join Fulham.
It seems as though Moyes has a plan up his sleeve to strengthen his centre-back ranks though…
West Ham to make Jakub Kiwior bid
The Poland international is on the Hammers’ radar and it is claimed that an £8.5 million bid for the defender could be incoming from the East London outfit.
For just £8.5 million, Kiwior wouldn’t be a bad signing but we have to say, Moyes really should be setting his sights a lot higher than the Spezia defender.
The 22-year-old can operate as a defensive midfielder as well though, and that versatility will obviously appeal to Moyes.
In 22 Serie A appearances last season, Kiwior averaged 2.3 tackles, 1.8 interceptions and 2.2 clearances per game (Who Scored).

The Polish ace stands at 6ft 2in tall and is very energetic and mobile.
The Spezia defender is a proper athlete but it must be said that he is totally unproven in the Premier League. Players a lot better than Kiwior have arrived in the Premier League and failed to succeed.
Having said that, the £8.5 million fee means it could be argued that he’d be worth the risk.
West Ham signing Jakub Kiwior wouldn’t be the worst move in the world.
We just believe that David Moyes could, and should, be aiming a lot higher than the 22-year-old.
