According to a report from French media outlet Senego, West Ham are lining up a January swoop for Vorskla Poltava’s giant defender Pape-Alioune Ndiaye.

The towering ace who stands at 6ft 8in tall has really impressed for Vorskla Poltava this season.
Hammers boss David Moyes will be keen to bolster his central defensive ranks in January.
The Scot needs more competition and cover for Fabian Balbuena, Angelo Ogbonna and Issa Diop.

We have signed Frederik Alves of course, but the young Dane is a player for the future rather than for the here and now.
Senego claimed that West Ham are ready to offer £10 million for Vorskla Poltava centre-back Pape-Alioune Ndiaye.
The 22-year-old has really impressed for the Ukrainian outfit this season, making 14 appearances in the process.
Given his height, Ndiaye is obviously very strong and dominant in the air. The Frenchman is an absolute powerhouse and he would add to our already potent threat from set-pieces.

The centre-back is so highly rated in the Ukraine that his coach Yuriy Maksymov recently claimed he was worth a staggering €100 Million euros – £89m.
That was clearly a huge exaggeration, however.
And if West Ham can bring Pape-Alioune Ndiaye to the London Stadium for just £10 million in January, it might just be worth taking a punt on him.
