David Moyes is clearly keen to bolster his central midfield ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
It must be said, however, the Hammers boss is surely on the look-out for a defensive midfielder to compete with and provide cover for Tomas Soucek and Declan Rice.
Juventus ace Aaron Ramsey certainly doesn’t fit into that category.
Nonetheless, West Ham are said to be keen on the 63-capped Wales International.

The Hammers have been linked with move to sign the 30-year-old for quite some time now. And now there has been a big update.
West Ham leading Aaron Ramsey race
Gazzetta dello Sport suggested that the Hammers are in pole position to sign the former Arsenal midfielder.
In his day, Ramsey was a top class box-to-box midfielder. He has really struggled with injuries over the past five years or so, however.

And the Welshman has failed to live up to expectations since swapping north London for Turin two years ago.
We think that West Ham should avoid a move for Ramsey.
There are far better and more cost effective options out there for the Hammers this summer.

Unless there is a chance to pick the Juve ace up for a real bargain fee, there won’t be much value in West Ham signing him this summer.
