West Ham United are pushing hard to make some new signings before the January transfer window slams shut.
The January window has been all quiet on the western front for West Ham so far this month.
However, Graham Potter, and the Hammers fans of course, will be hoping that all changes soon, with some new arrivals at the London Stadium.
Evan Ferguson is believed to be West Ham’s top target, but Chelsea have now hijacked our move for the Brighton star.
The addition of a new striker is obviously Potter’s priority.

However, the Hammers head coach cannot afford to ignore the central midfield deficiencies either.
With that in mind, the latest transfer claim is a hugely encouraging one.
West Ham ramp up January window transfer push
Potter is obviously casting his net far and wide in the search for reinforcements before deadline day.
He needs to bolster his ranks in numerous areas this month.
One of the key additions required is a central midfielder, and the Hammers’ latest reported transfer target is a hugely exciting one.
FCInterNews claim that West Ham have made an offer for Inter Milan midfield star Kristjan Asllani.
However, the Serie A giants have allegedly rejected our proposal, unfortunately.
That’s such a shame for West Ham, and I would like to see us go back in for him in the summer.
The 22-year-old is an exceptional talent, and has really come into his own for Inter this season, with 21 appearances in all competitions to his name.

Asllani is a defensive midfielder by trade but he’s incredibly versatile as well, and can operate as an orthodox central midfielder or even in the number 10 role.
He has power, pace and athleticism in abundance, and genuinely exceptional technical ability as well.
The Hammers are crying out for more quality and energy in the middle of the park.
Kristjan Asllani would be a tremendous addition for West Ham in the January window.
However, Inter Milan are clearly not prepared to play ball, and I don’t blame them one little bit in all honesty.
