West Ham are plotting a move to sign one of Club Brugge’s Belgium international attackers in January according to a report from Calciomercato.
Hammers boss David Moyes desperately needs to bolster his centre-forward ranks at the London Stadium.
The Scot currently has Michail Antonio as his only option through the middle.
It seems as though the West Ham boss could be targeting the signing of another versatile winger in January, however.
West Ham plotting move to sign Belgium international
Charles De Ketelaere is on the Hammers’ radar according to a report from Calciomercato.
And what an incredibly exciting signing the 20-year-old would be for West Ham.
The two-capped Belgium international has been in fine form for Club Brugge so far this season, bagging four goals and three assists in 13 games (Transfermarkt).
De Ketelaere is comfortable playing anywhere along the front-line. He has exceptional technique and is very quick along the ground.
The youngster was described as an attacker with ‘fantastic trickery’ by Eurosport.
The 20-year-old is available for around £21 million according to a report from Goal.
That sounds like very good value to us considering De Ketelaere’s undeniable talent.
Whether Moyes is able to bring him to the London Stadium amidst fierce competition from the likes of Everton and AC Milan, however, remains to be seen.
