West Ham close to Pervis Estupinan signing
The 23-year-old Ecuador international is close to joining the Hammers according to a report from Calcio News 24.
We have allegedly beaten Napoli to his signature.
In 25 La Liga outings for Villarreal last season, Estupinan averaged 1.5 tackles, 1.4 interceptions and 0.5 clearances per game.
The South American is a strong, tenacious tackling full-back. He has plenty of pace as well.
Estupinan seems custom built for Premier League football.
The La Liga outfit signed him for £15 million from Watford last summer (Sky Sports).

It remains to be seen how much West Ham will have to pay for the Ecuadorian defender, however. He would be a useful addition but we shouldn’t be spending so heavily on a left-back before we have brought in a centre-back and a striker in all honesty.
