The 22-year-old is one of the Hammers’ prime transfer targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
Salzburger Nachrichten have been claiming since January that the Zambia international is a target for David Moyes.
And Daka could be available for just £17 million according to Salzburger Nachrichten.

West Ham signing Patson Daka would be a big statement
The 22-year-old speed demon would be a truly excellent addition for the Hammers. He is at the ideal age to move to the Premier League and take England’s top flight by storm.
Daka racked up a stunning 34 goals and 12 assists in 42 games for RB Salzburg so far this season (Transfermarkt).
The Zambia international possesses blistering pace, has great movement and is a lethal finisher.

He has been described as an ‘exceptional goal machine’ by well-renowned statistical analysis website Who Scored.
Signing Daka for £17 million would be truly outstanding business for the Hammers. Spending that kind of money on a marquee name would then enable Moyes to strengthen other areas of his squad that are in urgent need of attention.
The lighting quick RB Salzburg ace should be at the very top of David Moyes’s wish-list this summer.
And it seems as though West Ham are in the driving seat to sign him. That’s what Zam Foot claims at least.
Daka at the London Stadium next season would be a real treat for the Hammers fans.
Please make it happen Sully!
