EXCLUSIVE: A West Ham man has labelled a Marseille transfer bid for Said Benrahma a ‘joke’ in a 15-word response on the offer.
As West Ham fans know full well by now, the club is looking to ship fringe players out in order to make signings.
The Hammers must do so in order to clear space in the squad and on the wage bill.
One of West Ham’s more saleable fringe players is Said Benrahma.

West Ham man labels Benrahma bid a ‘joke’
Especially after he was left out of Algeria’s AFCON squad thus making him available to play for any new team immediately.
Benrahma has barely featured under David Moyes this season and is said to be attracting interest from Wolves, former club Brentford, Saudi Arabian clubs, Lyon and Marseille.
Foot Mercato claimed earlier today that Marseille have seen a loan bid for winger Benrahma rejected by the Hammers.
Now a West Ham man has labelled a Marseille transfer bid for Benrahma a ‘joke’ in 15-word response.
A senior source inside West Ham has spoken to Hammers News about the Benrahma bid.

15-word response to Marseille “offer”
And the key Hammers contact has revealed the offer was so derisory it cannot even be considered a bid.
“NO BID RECEIVED!” the West Ham senior source told Hammers News.
“Or if it was, it was so small it was a joke.”
West Ham fans will share the frustration. When the Hammers go to clubs with legitimate offers they are often messed around over prices and valuations.
Yet when clubs want our players many of them seem to expect to pay peanuts – or next to nothing at all.
West Ham are being heavily linked with the likes of Jack Clarke, Steven Bergwijn, Ibrahim Osman, Jota and Jonathan Rowe.
So it appears Benrahma’s days are numbered. But only if West Ham receive a sensible offer which enables them to invest in one of those aforementioned stars.
