Claret and Hugh claimed last week that Hammers boss David Moyes is eyeing a move to sign the 19-year-old forward in January.
ExWHUemployee has poured cold water on those claims, however.
The highly-respected West Ham insider claimed that there is a decent chance the east London outfit will sign Abdallah Sima in the summer. He suggested that it is doubtful the striker will be arriving at the club in January, however.

The Slavia Prague youngster has been in superb form for the Czech outfit this season, with 13 goals in 18 games to his name (Transfermarkt).
He is an incredibly exciting prospect if not still a little rough around the edges.
West Ham have forged a wonderful relationship with Slavia Prague over the past 12 months. David Moyes has brought both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal to the London Stadium.

A move to sign Abdallah Sima seems like an absolute no-brainer. David Moyes is in desperate need of another top class centre-forward.
And the 19-year-old could be just the man for the job.
Slavia would surely be open to doing business with us if we are prepared to pay them a fair price for the 19-year-old’s services. Calcio Mercato have claimed that Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdik could demand as much as £45 million for the striker.
That is surely just posturing from Tvrdik though. Perhaps a fee closer to £20 million would be more realistic.
According to Ex, however, we might just have to wait until the summer before we see Sima in a West Ham shirt.
