Yarmo joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for around £18 million (Football Insider). He seemed like a very decent buy for the East London club at the time.

The 31-year-old has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him when he moved to the London Stadium, however.

Yarmolenko has just one year remaining on his current £115k-a-week contract with West Ham.

If West Ham are offered anything over £5 million for Yarmolenko the club’s owners should take it and run.

Yarmolenko not suited to English football

The 31-year-old does have genuine quality but he just isn’t dynamic, athletic or robust enough for Premier League football.

Yarmolenko is more suited to a slower paced league like the Super Lig in Turkey.

Whether West Ham are able to move him on this summer, however, remains to be seen.
