West Ham are hoping to sell Andriy Yarmolenko for as much as £8 million this summer according to a report from Claret and Hugh.
Yarmo joined the Hammers from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2018 for around £18 million (Football Insider). He seemed like a very decent buy for the East London club at the time.
The 31-year-old has failed to hit the heights that were expected of him when he moved to the London Stadium, however.
Yarmolenko has just one year remaining on his current £115k-a-week contract with West Ham.
Galatasaray are allegedly interested in acquiring the capped 95-capped Ukraine international’s services before the start of next season (Fotomac).
West Ham hoping to sell Andriy Yarmolenko for £8 million
Club insiders Claret and Hugh claims that David Moyes is hopeful of selling the Ukrainian attacker this summer.
It is suggested that the East London outfit could get anywhere from £5-8 million for the former Borussia Dortmund winger.
If West Ham are offered anything over £5 million for Yarmolenko the club’s owners should take it and run.
Yarmolenko not suited to English football
The 31-year-old does have genuine quality but he just isn’t dynamic, athletic or robust enough for Premier League football.

Yarmolenko is more suited to a slower paced league like the Super Lig in Turkey.
Whether West Ham are able to move him on this summer, however, remains to be seen.
