West Ham United have to get a couple of deals done before the transfer window closes on deadline day.
Graham Potter is frantically searching for new additions before deadline day, as the clock ticks down on the January transfer window for West Ham.
The good news is that positive things are definitely happening behind the scenes at the London Stadium, with the club deep in talks to sign numerous different players.
The Hammers have so many key players out injured right now.
However, we are fairly well-stocked in the central midfield department.
The big problem for West Ham is that many of our engine room options are simply not good enough.

We need more power, athleticism and ball-carrying ability in the middle of the park.
And now, the perfect option is within touching distance it seems.
West Ham have a chance to sign midfielder before deadline day
So it seems like the Hammers can bring a top-class central midfielder to the London Stadium before the transfer window slams shut.
However, it won’t be completely straightforward.
Tuttomercatoweb are claiming that West Ham want to sign Nicolo Fagioli on loan from Juventus before deadline day.
The Italian midfielder is a top-class player, although he does have a checkered past, there’s no getting around that.
Fagioli was banned for seven months for breaches of betting rules last season, and he only returned to action at the start of this season.
However, those dark days seem to be well and truly behind him now.
The 23-year-old has been in fine form for Juventus this season, and he has been very consistent, with 22 appearances for Thiago Motta’s side.
West Ham now know exactly what is needed to sign Fagioli before the window closes.
Juventus stance is firm on make or break Nicolo Fagioli demand
The 23-year-old midfielder seems certain to leave the Turin club this winter.

The twist is that any club wishing to sign Fagioli on loan in the January window must include an obligation to buy him in the summer into the deal.
I’m always hesitant when it comes to obligation to buy deals – what if the player is a huge flop?
However, when it comes to Nicolo Fagioli, I really believe that West Ham should push through with a move to sign him before deadline day.
Hopefully the Hammers will be able to agree a reasonable obligation to buy fee with Juve for the seven-capped Italy international.
He is a sensational footballer – someone who possesses all of the attributes needed to take West Ham to another level.
Fagioli has energy, stamina, athleticism and technical ability in abundance. The 23-year-old is absolutely perfect for the current West Ham team.
Potter and Macaulay have to get a deal done for him now. Let’s just hope that they’re successful in doing so.
