West Ham United are reportedly very keen to sign Elye Wahi from Montpellier this summer.
According to TEAMtalk, West Ham have opened talks with Montpellier to bring Elye Wahi to the London Stadium in the summer transfer window.

The East London outfit have been linked with a move to sign Wahi this summer, and a recent report claimed that we could beat Chelsea to the £30 million-rated striker’s signature.

Hammers boss David Moyes absolutely has to add a top-class striker to his ranks this summer – preferably one with pace and power in abundance.
Gianluca Scamacca has already left, whilst Michail Antonio is being linked with a move to Leeds.
And it seems as though Moyes has someone in mind to take up the mantle of the main striker at West Ham…
West Ham have made first concrete move to sign ‘incredible’ £30 million striker Elye Wahi
TEAMtalk reckon that the Hammers have approached Montpellier about signing the 20-year-old speed demon this summer.
Described by Transfermarkt as ‘incredible’, Wahi has absolutely everything needed to go on and become a huge star in the game.

The 20-year-old is an incredible finisher as well. Last season, he bagged 19 goals and six assists in 33 Ligue 1 games for Montpellier (Transfermarkt).
He’s absolutely perfect for West Ham’s system, what with his blistering pace, exceptional movement and impressive finishing ability.
If West Ham manage to sign Elye Wahi for £30 million this summer, I believe it will be a real statement move from the club.
The Montpellier man would provide Moyes with an entirely different option through the middle, and the £30 million being demanded by the Ligue 1 outfit will end up being a real bargain, I have no doubts about that.
