West Ham United have allegedly made an offer to Adnan Januzaj and the attacker will decide which club he joins very shortly.

That’s according to a report from AS who claim that the 13-capped Belgium international has plenty of offers on the table, including one from the Hammers.

The 27-year-old winger is believed to be demanding around £95k-a-week from whichever club he joins this summer.

West Ham manager David Moyes definitely needs to bring a winger to the London Stadium this summer after Andriy Yarmolenko left on a free transfer.

The problem for Moyes is that he needs to bring in so many players this summer without a massive, unlimited transfer budget.

So the opportunity to sign a top-class wide attacking player on a free transfer will obviously appeal to the Scot. Especially considering that it is a player who he knows so well…

West Ham make Adnan Januzaj offer

AS reckon that the Hammers have made an offer to the ex-Manchester United ace.

The East London outfit allegedly face plenty of competition for his signature, but the lure of Premier League football may well be enough for us to win the race.

We think that signing Januzaj on a free transfer would be a very smart move from West Ham.

Januzaj has been described as a brilliant player by Manchester United legend Paul Scholes (talkSPORT).

And on his day, he is extremely exciting to watch. The problem is that he is not very consistent. And his stats last season make for pretty grim reading, with just five goals and three assists to his name in 44 games (Transfermarkt).

The 27-year-old has never hit the heights that were expected of him when he burst onto the scene as a teenager a decade ago when David Moyes of all people gave him his debut for Manchester United.

Moyes also brought him to Sunderland on loan during his spell in charge at the Stadium of Light.

Januzaj is still a very decent player when he’s at his best. He can play anywhere along the front-line and possesses exceptional technical ability.

The Belgian’s availability on a free transfer and his apparent wage demands of around £95k-a-week (Estadio Deportivo) makes him the ideal replacement for Yarmolenko – and a more cost effective one at that.

If West Ham have indeed made an offer to Januzaj, it will be interesting to see whether he chooses a move to the London Stadium over other clubs that want to sign him.
