West Ham have made an offer for Nikola Maksimovic according to Corriere Dello Sport journalist Antonio Giordano as quoted via Area Napoli.

The 25-capped Serbia international is available on a free transfer after his contract with Napoli expired.
Hammers boss David Moyes is thought to be prioritising the addition of a top class centre-back this summer (Claret and Hugh).
The Scot needs to bolster his central defensive ranks with Fabian Balbuena having been released.
One name to have been persistently linked with a move to the London Stadium over the past year or so is Napoli ace Nikola Maksimovic (Area Napoli and Calcio Mercato.it).
And it seems as though the Hammers have beefed up their interest in the 29-year-old.

The East London outfit have made a concrete offer to sign the Serb according to Corriere Dello Sport journalist Antonio Giordano as quoted via Area Napoli:
“Napoli are definitely looking for one or two defenders, with Maksimovic leaving. Would he like to stay? I think it’s his wish and perhaps he also carries with him the regret of not having accepted the renewal a year ago. He has had offers from Betis, Sevilla, West Ham and Crystal Palace but hasn’t decided. I guess he’s waiting for Napoli to think again.“
We think that Maksimovic would be an excellent addition for West Ham.
The seasoned veteran is an old school, no-nonsense defender. He is fairly accomplished with the ball at his feet as well.
In 17 Serie A outings last term, Maksimovic averaged 1.1 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 2.6 clearances per game. He also won an average of 2.1 aerial duals per match. The centre-back averages 56.5 passes per game with a supremely impressive completion rate of 92.2% (Who Scored).
Signing Maksimovic for nothing is a deal that West Ham should be all over this summer.
