The Hammers won’t have things all their own way, however.
Leeds, Crystal Palace and Southampton allegedly want to sign the 21-capped Venezuela international as well.
The Sun recently claimed that David Moyes wants to bring the 23-year-old Man City midfielder to the London Stadium this summer.

And it now seems as though the East London club are accelerating their pursuit of the South American ace.
West Ham table bid for Yangel Herrera
FUTVE claims that the Hammers are one of four clubs to submit an offer for the Man City ace.
We think that the 23-year-old would be a superb addition to David Moyes’s ranks at West Ham.
Herrera spent the last couple of seasons on loan with Granada and he really impressed, racking up 10 goals and five assists in 82 games (Transfermarkt).

The Man City ace is an athletic and energetic midfield player. He has great quality in possession of the football as well.
The midfielder could be available for around £20 million this summer according to The Sun.

That seems like decent value to us. Hopefully West Ham manage to beat the other Premier League clubs interested in Herrera to his signature this summer.
