And considering Moyes’s need to strengthen his central midfield department, it would be no surprise to see him go back in for the Norwich City star in January.

If West Ham do go back in for McLean, however, they can expect competition from Glasgow Rangers.
Steven Gerrard has been really impressed with the 15-capped Scotland international, according to the Sun. And the Gers boss allegedly want to bring him to Ibrox in January.
McLean is apparently a boyhood Rangers fan and allegedly wants to join Steven Gerrard’s side.
So it seems as though the Hammers could have their work cut-out if they are to sign the Canaries ace.

The Sun claimed earlier this year that Norwich value McLean at around £10 million. That valuation may have dropped now, however, with the Canaries now playing Championship football.
The 28-year-old would be a decent addition for West Ham. He is a hard worker and a very good passer of the football. Last season, he recorded a very impressive pass completion rate of 80% in 37 Premier League games from an average of 45.4 passes per match (Who Scored).
Considering the Sun’s report claiming that boyhood Rangers fan McLean wants a move to Ibrox, however, the Hammers’ chances of signing the 28-year-old seem slim to say the least.
