Hammers boss David Moyes needs to bolster his centre-back ranks at the London Stadium this summer.
Fabian Balbuena is set to leave whilst Angelo Ogbonna and Craig Dawson are 33 and 31 respectively.
On top of that, Aaron Cresswell, who sometimes fills in as a left-sided central defender, is also on the wrong side of 31.
West Ham have great chance to sign Nikola Milenkovic
Corriere Fiorentino claims that the 23-year-old ‘will leave’ the Serie A outfit this summer.
In 34 Serie A appearances for Fiorentina this season, the Serbian scored three goals and registered one assist. In those outings, he averaged 1.4 tackles, 1.3 interceptions, 3.6 clearances and one block per match. The 23-year-old won an average of 3 aerial duals per game. He also had an 86% pass completion rate from an average of 46.6 passes per match (Who Scored).
The Fiorentina ace would be a great addition for West Ham. He has been described as the ‘new Nemanja Vidic’ (Football.London).
Calcio Mercato claims Milenkovic could be available for just £25 million this summer.
That fee could end up looking like absolute peanuts in a couple of years time.
