West Ham among Premier League clubs in Oscar Mingueza race
Oscar Mingueza has been one of Celta Vigo’s top performers since he joined from Barcelona in July 2022.
However, the versatile defender recently changed agents as he considers a summer move to the Premier League.
Celta Vigo have reportedly lost all hope of keeping Mingueza, despite having offered him a lucrative new deal.
This follows Vigo director Marco Garces’ revelation that the 26-year-old “hasn’t responded” to their contract offer.

Estadio Deportivo are now reporting that West Ham are among the many teams in the race to sign Mingueza.
The Hammers will face competition from Premier League rivals Newcastle and Aston Villa, as well as several Italian clubs.
Juventus, AC Milan and Cesc Fabregas’ Como are all in the race, but Mingueza is thought to favour a move to England.
The former Barcelona defender would bring Champions League experience and strengthen the Hammers’ depth at the back.
Of course, any deal for Mingueza would surely depend on West Ham avoiding relegation from the Premier League.
