Football Insider, The Daily Star and ExWHUemployee have all claimed that the 23-year-old Frenchman is a target for Hammers boss David Moyes.

West Ham now leading Odsonne Edouard race?

The Hammers are the front-runners for the Celtic striker’s signature according to AS Roma Live. We are thought to be leading Roma in the race to sign Edouard in the summer.

The former PSG ace would be a superb addition for West Ham.

The 23-year-old has racked up 81 goals and 37 assists in 164 games for Celtic (Transfermarkt).

He has a career record of 85 goals and 39 assists in 192 games (Transfermarkt).

The Hoops ace has been in fine form this season with 20 goals and six assists to his name in 36 games.

At 23, Edouard still has so much room for improvement, however. The sky really is the limit for the Frenchman.

The Celtic star could be available for just £15 million this summer according to the Daily Mail. That would be truly sensational business for West Ham. Even if we had to pay £20-25 million, signing Edouard would still be well worth it.

Let’s hope the West Ham owners manage to get this one over the line.
