West Ham striker Niclas Fullkrug faces an important decision when the summer transfer window opens.
AC Milan have no interest in making Fullkrug’s loan deal permanent, and the Hammers are keen to sell him.
The German international will have multiple options in the Bundesliga, but his Serie A future might not be over.
Former Tottenham director Fabio Paratici is willing to give Fullkrug a second chance to impress in Italy.

AC Milan have already decided to turn down their £4.3 million (€5m) option to sign Fullkrug this summer.
This has opened the door for Fullkrug’s representatives to explore other options in the transfer market.
Former Tottenham director Fabio Paratici, now managing director of Fiorentina, is reportedly interested in signing him.
According to Calciomercato, Paratici views Fullkrug as an ideal “mother hen” to help develop a younger striker.
With La Viola expected to lose both Roberto Piccoli and Moises Kean, they would need to bring in two forwards.
Promise David is the perfect replacement for Fullkrug.
Who else can West Ham sign?
At 33 years of age, a mentoring role could suit Fullkrug and allow him to prolong his career into his mid- to late-thirties.
However, perhaps he would rather join another club, such as Wolfsburg, where he would be a more integral player.
Either way, it appears that he has already played his last game for West Ham and will be remembered as a flop signing.
The Hammers are even willing to sell Fullkrug for almost nothing just to get him off the wage bill for next season.
