Hammers boss David Moyes is desperately on the look-out for a top class number 10.
The Scot’s priority was to sign Jesse Lingard after his incredible loan spell at the London Stadium last season.
A move to sign the 28-year-old permanently seems to be growing increasingly more unlikely with each day that passes, however.

It’s time to move on from Jesse. West Brom ace Pereira would be the perfect alternative to the Manchester United man.
In fact, it could actually be argued that he’d be a better option. He’s three-and-a-half years younger and cheaper for a start!
West Ham open talks with West Brom and Pereira
That’s according to Ekrem Konur.

The journalist has a huge following on Twitter of over 125,000 people. He often gets transfer stories spot on.
Konur said:
Signing Pereira a no-brainer
The 25-year-old would be a truly sensational addition for the Hammers.
He is expected to cost around £15 million according to the Daily Star on Sunday (June 13th, page 41).
Pereira racked up 11 goals and six assists in 33 Premier League games last season (Transfermarkt).
He proved that he is an absolute menace from a deal ball situation as well.
The West Brom ace is just the kind of player Moyes should be bringing to the London Stadium.
