West Ham fans will absolutely love what Crysencio Summerville has reportedly told Spurs and Man United in the battle for his signature.
- Hammers News exclusive
It seems to be round two between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United when it comes to trying to sign one of West Ham’s best players.
Spurs beat the Red Devils to Mateus Fernandes after meeting West Ham’s demand of paying a whopping £85m up front.
That was much to the disappointment of many West Ham fans who did not want the club to sell to their bitter rivals Tottenham.
Summerville issues emphatic response to Spurs and Man United
Now the Hammers are at the centre of another transfer battle between Spurs and Manchester United for Crysencio Summerville.
Both clubs have been credited with an interest in the Dutch winger since the Hammers were relegated from the Premier League.
DISCUSS: How much would you sell Crysencio Summerville for this summer? 💰
Summerville's value is only going one way after his World Cup heroics 📈
It has always been the case that West Ham were realistic when it came to the fact they would likely sell Fernandes and Summerville this summer.
The former Leeds ace has done his chances of a move no harm at all with his impressive performances at the World Cup for Holland.

Now the Dutch have exited the competition, a transfer for Summerville is expected to be expedited.
There have been reports Tottenham are once again ready to blow Manchester United out of the water with a superior offer to West Ham and the player.
But West Ham fans will love Summerville’s response to Spurs and Man United amid the battle for his signature.
Spurs blow as Summerville only wants Man United
Because Hammers News understands Summerville has told both parties and West Ham that he ONLY wants to join Manchester United.
Leading sources at West Ham have told Hammers News the 24-year-old has made it clear to his representatives that Old Trafford is his ‘dream destination’ and number one priority.
How will Summerville’s future be impacted by his World Cup performances? 🇳🇱
He leaves with 2 goals and 2 assists! ⚽ ⚽
Refreshingly, Summerville is said to favour signing for a club that can compete for the Champions League and the Premier League over taking the bigger wages on offer at Tottenham.
That will be much more palatable for Hammers fans than seeing yet another top player join rivals Spurs.

The two clubs went nearly 15 years without a player moving between them due to frosty relations on and off the pitch from boardroom to the terraces.
But West Ham sold Mohammed Kudus to Spurs for £54.5m last summer and have now offloaded Fernandes, albeit for a much more significant fee.
Tottenham supporters have been goading West Ham over Fernandes and Kudus, calling the east Londoners their “feeder club”.
However, Don Hutchison has humbled Spurs, saying West Ham got the better of the Fernandes deal.
