Some West Ham fans took to Twitter last night and urged David Moyes to sign Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope.

The Hammers currently have Lukasz Fabianski as their number one goalkeeper.
The Poland international is 35 now, however, and he has certainly regressed since returning from injury midway through last season.
Darren Randolph is David Moyes’s number two at the London Stadium. The Irishman is nothing more than an able deputy, however. And he certainly shouldn’t be considered as someone who could be our number one stopper for the next few years.

West Ham do have promising youngsters Nathan Trott and Joseph Anang coming through the ranks. It is unclear as to whether they are ready for regular Premier League action just yet, however.
So the addition of a top class goalkeeper either in January or next summer may well be a wise move from Moyes.
Burnley ace Nick Pope could be a great option for us.

The 28-year-old has been superb for the Clarets since moving to Turf Moor in the summer of 2016. He has let in just 110 goals in 91 games for Sean Dyche’s side, whilst keeping 35 clean sheets in the process (Transfermarkt).
Dyche will be desperate to keep Pope at Burnley, and he is still under contract until the summer of 2023.
So the Lancashire club hold all the cards.
In spite of that, some West Ham fans have urged David Moyes to bring the England international to the London Stadium…
