West Ham fans think Marko Arnautovic return is nailed on after David Moyes and Mark Noble make honest admissions

Some West Ham fans think Marko Arnautovic could be heading back to West Ham United in the summer after hearing Mark Noble and David Moyes both comment on the Austrian.

The Hammers are keen to sign the 32-year-old this summer according to Tutto Mercato Web.

Arnautovic left the Hammers under acrimonious circumstances two years ago.

The way in which he angled for a move away from the London Stadium (twice) badly tarnished his time with West Ham. That kind of behaviour was just inexcusable, especially considering how much we needed him at the time.

Mark Noble suggested how sad he was when Arnie left East London two years ago, as covered right here on Hammers News a couple of days ago.

Meanwhile, David Moyes refused to rule out a move to re-sign the Austria international, again covered here on Hammers News this morning.

A move to re-sign Arnautovic would be an incredibly bold one from David Moyes.

It does seem as though the manager and the skipper are perhaps testing the water.

They may well have been gauging the fan reaction to a potential Arnautovic return.

There are some fans who never want to see the 32-year-old in East London ever again.

There are some like Noble, however, who understand just how good he was for us and wouldn’t mind him being given another crack of the whip.
