David Moyes could really do with bringing another striker to the London Stadium before tomorrow’s deadline.
Michail Antonio quite simply cannot play every single game for us this season. And just as importantly, Moyes needs to have a decent option available to him from the bench when a change is needed.
Rondon is actually the perfect man for that job.
The Venezuelan is strong as an ox and is well-versed in leading the line on his own.
Rondon, 31, is very experienced in playing in the Premier League having spent time with West Brom and Newcastle.
He is on huge wages in China, so will undoubtedly have to take a pay-cut if he is to join West Ham.
And if he’s willing to do that and is available for a decent fee, West Ham could do a lot worse than signing Rondon.
