Calcio Mercato claims that Chelsea hitman Olivier Giroud could be an option for West Ham.

Sempre Inter recently claimed that the 34-year-old Blues ace may be available for just €5 million (£4.4 million) in January.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard recently suggested that the French World Cup winner still has a key role to play at Stamford Bridge, however (Metro).
It will be interesting to see the west London outfit’s stance if the Hammers actually make a concrete offer for Giroud though.
The Frenchman still has a lot to offer in spite of his advancing years.
The 6ft 4in target man has proved himself at every level. He has 211 career club games to his name. The 34-year-old offers so much more than just goals, however.

Giroud’s hold up play is second to none and there are few better than him in the air.
He would undoubtedly be a useful short-term fix for West Ham.
