David Moyes’s need for a new striker has been well-documented already this summer.
The Scot’s search for a top-class centre-forward has now reached desperation levels.
Gaetan Laborde is a player who has been linked with a move to the London Stadium since January.

And now Foot Mercato are claiming that Montpellier are planning not to play the 27-year-old between now and the end of the transfer window as to prevent jeopardising a potential sale.
The Frenchman is a hard-working striker. He’s far from prolific although he did bag 18 goals and nine assists in 43 games for Montpellier last season (Transfermarkt).
West Ham fans excited by potential Gaetan Laborde arrival
The experienced Montepllier forward can play anywhere along the front-line.

He has similar attributes to Michail Antonio.
So it’s clear to see why Moyes may want to sign him.
