Some West Ham fans are delighted that Gary Cahill is heading to Bournemouth.

The 35-year-old seems all set to join the Cherries on a free transfer after his release from Crystal Palace according to The Guardian.
ExWHUemployee claimed at the start of the month that the Hammers were keeping an eye on Cahill.
With David Moyes in desperate need of central defensive reinforcements at the London Stadium, many West Ham fans thought Cahill would be heading to East London.

His availability on a free transfer meant that the Hammers owners were undoubtedly weighing up a swoop for him.
We don’t have to worry about signing a has-been well past his best, however.

The Hammers fans have had to sit and watch as many of David Moyes’s prime targets moved to other clubs this summer.
Danny Ings, Adam Armstrong and Tammy Abraham joined Aston Villa, Southampton and Roma respectively.

Meanwhile, a move to sign Nikola Milenkovic ended in tears. The West Ham fans are exasperated with their club’s business this summer… and rightly so.
This time, however, they are pleased that one of the Hammers’ alleged targets seems to be moving elsewhere.
