According to an exclusive report from the Mirror, West Ham United are weighing up a move to sign Borussia Monchengladbach striker Alassane Plea. And some hammers fans have reacted to the news on Twitter.

The Frenchman would be a very useful addition for the Hammers.

He perfectly fits into the category of strikers David Moyes loves. The Frenchman is energetic, dynamic, has plenty of pace and is also strong when playing with his back to goal.

Plea, 27, has been in fine form this season, with seven goals and five assists to his name in 18 games for Borussia Monchengladbach (Transfermarkt).
